In order to continue growing and developing our ideas and the brand, a vacancy has been generated for a Commercial Sales Representative for the Mar del Plata and North Buenos Aires / Santa Fe Region.

How does your job as a Commercial Sales Representative at Rijk Zwaan look like?

As a Commercial Sales Representative you carry out all the tasks referred to sales of the company's products and you are in direct, frequent and close contact with the current distribution chain, plant raisers. You generate a relationship with the growers of the area of influence, coordinate and carry out the trials of the different crops. You develop business opportunities and plan realistic sales scenarios through the distribution channel and direct channel. You collect and analyse market information and identify market changes and variations in order to make the necessary corrections in the regional sales plan, in this way having tools to make proposals for long-term development of business volume and the crops. You develop clear and continuous communication channels: both with external clients (growers, distribution network, plant raisers and reference technicians) and with internal clients (other departments within the company) to achieve effective and efficient commercial operations. Moreover, you enjoy traveling and you are available for business trips in the area of responsibility as well as to other areas of Argentina and abroad.

Your contribution:

You are a committed, proactive and decisive person, with good communication and negotiation skills. You are responsible, result and client-oriented. You can work on your own as you are good at planning and self-management and organization. At the same time you like to work in team. As you are enthusiastic in horticulture, you are aware of the latest digital developments in the vegetable industry. You are willing to make business trips in the Argentine territory and also internationally.

In addition we can find the following in your cv:

  • Background in agricultural engineering or graduate in a related field
  • Proven experience in the vegetable market of at least 3 years in the commercial area.
  • Technical background of crops
  • Knowledge of computer tools
  • Intermediate English level
  • General knowledge and experience with a CRM system.
  • You live in the area or be available to settle in the referred area.
