Our team is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced Demand and Supply Planner or an administrative all-rounder with a passion for data and planning to join our Sales Support team.

Your role at Rijk Zwaan

As one of our Demand and Supply Planners, reporting to the Team Leader Sales Support, you will coordinate a portfolio of vegetable and fruit seed varieties. You will be responsible for monitoring seed inventory, demand and replenishment to ensure seed availability for our customers. You will meticulously track and forecast against budgets, to maintain optimum inventory levels. Accuracy is crucial in this role, as you will be preparing data and reports for our portfolio meetings, which are essential for making informed business decisions.

You are known for your collaborative nature, working seamlessly with local crop specialists, the Sales Support team, and our international supply team. Your quick responses and adaptability help you navigate changing business needs with ease. You actively seek improvements and are open to sharing your ideas. With a passion for sustainability and a love for vegetables, you truly embody what Rijk Zwaan stands for.

  • Qualification in Business, or experience in a similar role 
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, highly desirable 
  • Prior experience in forecasting and replenishment software, preferred 
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, Microsoft 365
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • A proactive approach to meeting timelines
  • Ability to work independently while promoting a collaborative team environment

Where will you be working?

Rijk Zwaan is an international family-owned company, and one of the top four vegetable seed companies in the world. Within our international network, around 4,000 staff are committed to transforming the way vegetables are grown and consumed. 

The Australian subsidiary was founded in 1987 and employs 80 people, working across seed production, research and development, and sales, with the majority of our team working in Daylesford.
