Financial Accountant

Your job at Rijk Zwaan.

As Financial Accountant you will report to the Controller of Rijk Zwaan Budapest Kft. and you will be responsible for general accounting of the company, which includes:

• carrying out administrative and bookkeeping tasks;
• maintaining financial records and statements to ensure transactions are accurately recorded;
• preparation of accounting reports, preparation of VAT and other declarations, process and follow up payments;
• making regular reports to the authorities (eg.: National statistics);
• following up debtors collection and taking care of payments;
• other back-office and operational tasks.

Besides you will work at various financial projects such as launching a new accounting program software or support colleagues with some administrative tasks.

Your contribution.

We are looking for a Financial Accountant with:

• a College degree (Bsc.) in Accounting, Business Economics or Financial Studies;
• at least 3-year relevant experience in an Accounting department;
• well-developed financial and accounting skills;
• knowledge of accounting and tax regulation in accordance with Hungarian legislations;
• at least working proficiency of English language;
• working knowledge in various Accounting systems will be an additional advantage. 

Furthermore you live in Budapest or close by. You speak fluent Hungarian. You are honest and reliable, someone who your colleagues can rely on. You are precise, have good analytical skills and are able to communicate well.
