Client Manager Hydroponic Lettuce (Japan/Korea)

As Client Manager for Hydroponic Lettuce in Japan and Korea, you will build and maintain strong relationships with key growers and decision-makers. As a member of our East Asia team, you will be the primary point of contact of technical support for large hydroponic lettuce growers in Japan, while closely collaborating with our Korean team. You’ll play a vital role in strengthening client relationships, offering expert advice on hydroponic lettuce cultivation, and introducing innovative varieties to the market. Collaborating closely with breeders and local team, you will help shape the variety pipeline for these regions. You will help organizing and managing commercial trials, overseeing setup, data collection, and reporting. You will work alongside a dynamic international team of commercial and technical experts, and coordinate with our trusted business partners across Japan and Korea. Additionally, you will be responsible for

• Collaborating with local distributors to ensure smooth communication
• Developing and implementing sales forecasts in collaboration with the Area Manager
• Sharing insights and market intelligence with colleagues across Asia
• Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
• Using digital platforms to support client engagement and data sharing.

• Master’s degree in Agricultural Science or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in horticulture or agribusiness
• Fluent in Japanese and English
• Valid driver’s license
• Based in or willing to relocate to Chiba Prefecture, Japan
