The Customer Support Department is the link between the logistics center in De Lier, the Netherlands, and Rijk Zwaan  subsidiaries and distributors. As Customer Support Specialist you are responsible for the timely and customer-oriented delivery of vegetable and fruit seeds to distributors, subsidiaries and customers.  

You work closely with the commercial team which represents the company’s interests, locally in various countries and with the Supply and Distribution departments. You are the point of contact for distributors and clients in Hungary and the countries of Balkan region and you help your colleagues where necessary. 

You are responsible for translating the needs of distributors into short-term and long-term planning and ultimately into orders and deliveries.

You are also responsible for correctly interpreting all export and phytosanitary requirements. You take care of the administrative processing of the orders and are responsible for the associated documents.

You identify opportunities and possibilities for improvements and you are open to further optimizing the processes together with your colleagues.

Participating in various projects is an additional challenge for the Customer Services Specialist position.

In addition, we may find the following on your resume:

• a completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the field of Management, Commercial Economy, Logistics;
• at least 3 years of relevant work experience;
• knowledge of and experience with IT within a complex organization.
