Quality Assurance Specialist

As Quality Assurance Specialist within the Production department, you play a key role in safeguarding quality standards across seed production processes, while working closely with multidisciplinary teams in a high‑technology greenhouse environment. Your main responsibilities include:

• Managing and improving the quality management system in line with Rijk Zwaan standards.
• Leading internal and external audits, including non‑conformity follow‑up and root cause analysis.
• Developing and implementing protocols, work instructions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Acting as GOAL and GTD ambassador and document manager within QSE Online.
• Supporting HSE activities as back‑up, focusing on safety, risk prevention and environmental operations.

You are a quality‑driven professional with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. You take ownership of processes, work proactively with different teams and feel comfortable leading audits and improvement projects. You combine structure with a hands‑on mindset and enjoy working in a dynamic production environment.

In addition, we can find the following on your resume:

• A completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in quality systems or quality assurance roles.
• Conversational English (B2), with willingness to continue developing to B2+ level.
• Experience with quality management systems and intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong communication, planning, organization and people management skills.
