Team Co-ordinator Crop Maintenance

What does your job as Team Co-ordinator at Rijk Zwaan Promex look like?

As a Team Co-ordinator within the Production Team you fulfill an essential role to manage a Green House of 3 hectares that produces hybrid seeds of tomato, pepper, cucumber and eggplant.  

You are responsible for:

• Taking care of a team of 25 colleagues (delafing, twisting, disinfection, harvest) motivate them, help them to perform well and give them direction towards company goals. Create and contribute to a good working atmosphere.
• Manage the day to day activities of the station, irrigation, climate control, maintenance of machinery, purchasing necessary for the station and be a sparring partner for the Prodution Manager in view of the subject. 
• Signal fundamental irregularities and optimise assigned elements within or related to the processes in the location 
• Responsible for the quality standards to be met in the execution of the crop maintenance.

You are good at leading a team keeping close contact with the Crop Assistants and you have the following profile:

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead Crop Maintenance
• Pro-activity and self-motivation

• Upper Intermediate English
• Proficiency in organization, planning and solving problems
• Focus on building long term relations

This team consists of 12 colleagues who work on managing two high technology green houses and in general all processes related to produce high quality seeds. We have two High Technology Green Houses and all the produced seed are send back to Rijk Zwaan Holland to comply with the highest quality seed standards. We mostly produce tomato seeds, pepper seeds, cucumber seeds and eggplant seeds.
