Client Manager - Crop Specialist

Your job as Client Manager - Crop Specialist at Rijk Zwaan Hellas

As Client Manager - Crop Specialist you are responsible for growing Rijk Zwaan’s business in the area of Central Greece. 

You build and maintain strong relationships with growers and dealers, identify new opportunities, and give advice to our customers.

Additionally, you are responsible for:

• being first point of contact for growers in the region;
• developing and executing sales strategies for bigger clients;
• building long-term relationships with customers and identifying new business opportunities;
• organizing customer-focused activities such as field days, seminars, demonstrations, and promotional events;
• translating customer needs and market trends into valuable insights for Product Development and Marketing;
• contributing proactively to the development of digital services for both customers and internal stakeholders;
• analyzing and forecasting sales volumes and preparing reports to support business decisions;
• collaborating closely with our local team as well as international colleagues within Rijk Zwaan;
• traveling regularly locally in the region of responsibility.

You are a commercially driven and relationship-oriented professional with a passion for the horticultural industry. You enjoy identifying new opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and translating market insights into business success. With your proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, you take initiative, think strategically, and are motivated to expand Rijk Zwaan’s presence in the market.

You work independently and in a structured way, while valuing collaboration and transparent communication. Strong analytical and organizational skills enable you to navigate complex situations and make well-founded decisions. You are comfortable working with digital tools and enjoy collaborating with clients, colleagues, and partners from diverse backgrounds.

In addition, you have a customer-focused approach, excellent communication skills, and enjoy commercial negotiations. You are flexible, willing to travel nationally and internationally, and communicate confidently in English within an international working environment. 

Additionally we can find in your cv:

• Master's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field;
• at least three years of relevant commercial work experience;
• residence in Greece, or the willingness to relocate there;
• a very good knowledge of MS Office.
