How does your job as Crop Specialist at Rijk Zwaan China look like?
As Crop Specialist you are responsible for coordinating crop activities for tomato within China. You fulfil an essential role in carrying out market research, developing commercial introduction & trial plan, preparing sales planning. Moreover, you support sales representatives with profound technical and product knowledge. You work in close coordination with your colleagues in commercial team and breeding team within Rijk Zwaan China and internationally. You will also be responsible for some clients, developing trustworthy relationships with them and proposing solutions that meet the objectives of the clients.

You are a strong communicator with a high degree of motivation and enthusiasm. Your effective interpersonal skills make you succeed in gaining other people's support. You have sharp analytical skills and enjoy taking a pragmatic approach to tackling challenges. Moreover, you have a commercial mindset and are market-oriented. Given the nature of this position, you are open to travel nationally and internationally and you also speak English fluently. In addition, we can find the following on your resume:
- A completed bachelor or master degree, in the field of Agriculture and/or Business
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience, having relevant, sound crop knowledge is an advantage.
- Knowledge of and experience with operating in an international environment
