Your job at Rijk Zwaan?

As a Product Development Specialist, you bring the full range of Rijk Zwaan varieties to life on the market, with a special focus on the central regions of Italy. Your mission is twofold: strengthen our existing market presence and unlock new opportunities by engaging directly with growers and setting up impactful commercial trials.

With your blend of technical expertise, sales insight, and strong communication skills, you connect with key partners and demonstrate the added value of Rijk Zwaan varieties in your area. You actively contribute to product development and demand generation, supporting local marketing initiatives to ensure successful market introduction.

Collaboration is at the heart of your role. Working closely with your colleagues, you play a pivotal part in the launch of new varieties—helping bring innovation from the field to the market.

We are seeking for a Product Development Specialist with;

At least a Bachelor´s degree in Agriculture and background in vegetable production with knowledge of the market crops.
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience working in sales/promotion horticulture business.
Based in Roma area

Furthermore, you are a true team player and an excellent communicator, bringing strong initiative and contagious enthusiasm to everything you do. Your interpersonal skills enable you to naturally build trust and gain the support of others. You are proactive, comfortable taking the lead, and you approach every challenge with a commercial mindset and a strong client focus. You excel in negotiation and are ready to travel extensively within the assigned area. You are fluent in both spoken and written Italian and English.
